Total Commander Ultima Prime is a collection of the software and customized settings sets gathered in one installation package for enhancing Total Commander (file manager) possibilities. Our project differs from official distribution provided by Christian Ghisler on www.totalcmd.com site. If you’d like to see and try our solution, you can download it from our servers and discuss about it on our forum’s board. We provide our customization work as freeware in the form as it is but please remember, that Total Commander itself is distributed as shareware. Please keep in mind, that other contained applications licenses might differ and not be proper for commercial purposes too. Detailed descriptions of the software can be found on the forum board.

New version - TC UP 5.6

After a six month break, we are pleased to introduce You the next version of the Total Commander Ultima Prime project - 5.6.
This longer than usual period between releases is the result of work on opening the Ultima Pizza, located in the small village called Raba Wyżna (You are welcome!).

In the new version of TC UP project we have added few nice features in the installer. It was planned long time ago and required significant changes in code. This refers to the automatic installation option based on installation schemas. You can use two predefined schemas or use a schema file, which was created during a previous installation (it can be found in the following location: TC UPautoinstall.ini). Automatic installation mode lets you install all elements with just a few clicks.

Additionally, we have also added TrueCrypt to the project - great software application used for on-the-fly encryption.

We have also fixed Windows Shell Extension library for TC UP (TCUPShellExt) and we have added a splash screen to the installer. We would like to invite you to create animate splash screen for TC UP - perhaps we can add this to the future TC UP release.

As usually, we have updated project plugins and applications to the newest versions (Free Download Manager 3.8 RC2, Notepad++ 5.9.6.2 Unicode, Opera@USB 11.52, Recuva 1.41.537 System Info for Windows, SumatraPDF 1.9, System Explorer 3.6.2, TeamViewer 6.0.11656, The KMPlayer 3.0.0.1442 R2, uTorrent 3.0 build 26473, WinContig 1.00, XnView 1.98.5).

New version - TC UP 5.5

We are releasing this month next version with two fives in name. In this version we have focused on repairing critical issues. We fixed some problems in TC UP New and TC UP Turbo tools. They also have new exciting features (more info in respective changelogs and in videos on our YouTube channel). We also tried to improve our installer code. Opera browser has now new features and plugins. For example Ad blocking and pop-up windows blocking, automatic translator, fast images preview, YouTube downloader and fastest and more comfortable website browsing. A next new feature that we wanted to add to project long time ago is fantastic application, that allows remote computer management - TeamViewer. Thanks to this application we can easily manage (remotely control) any computer connected to the network on blue planet.

From now, we are also available on Facebook. We invite you all to contact us and post your suggestions.

As usually, we have updated project plugins and programs to their newest versions (InfraRecorder 0.52, Notepad++, 5.9 Unicode, Opera@USB 11.11, Recuva 1.40.525, SumatraPDF 1.5.1, SystemExplorer 2.8.1.3583, uTorrent 2.2.1, XnView 1.98). It was a complete actualisation for plugins.

New version - TC UP 5.4

In this release we've focused on the TC UP New, tool that can quickly create directories and files. It has now Beta 2 status. Most of the problems reported by users have been eliminated (however, there is still much work to do).

Opera 11 release support now a new functionality - browser extensions. Thanks to this, Opera from TC UP package can now use this fantastic functionality.

Default settings of installer have been setup to make it friendly for computer services that installs TC UP package on users machines (except disabled by default extensions and shortcuts creation). Thanks to this users can use applications in few mouse clicks, without running Total Commander.

As always, plugins and programs have been updated (Free Download Manager 3.5 RC build 954, Notepad++ 5.8.7 Unicode, Opera@USB 11.01, Recuva 1.39.509, SumatraPDF 1.3, SystemExplorer 2.7.3.3470, Total Commander 7.56a, µTorrent 2.2, VirtualDub 1.9.11 Build 32842, WinContig 1.00 RC2, VirtualDisk 1.3.3).

New version - TC UP 5.3

In the newest version of TC UP we have decided to remove Hasla application which was not maintained for a long time and to replace it with KeePass tool. We hope that its active development will fulfil our users needs. We have removed actualisation mode from installer code due to many unexpected issues raised by this feature and we've also added button for donations supports for our project - thank you very much for any help. Some important fixes were provided to TC UP and TC UP New tool and we would like to ask you to test them thoroughly and will gladly hear yours
feedback.

As usual, some of included plugins and applications (Ant Movie Catalog 3.5.1, Notepad++ 5.8.4, Opera@USB 10.63, System Info for Windows 2010 (build 0714g), µTorrent 2.2, VirtualDub 1.9.10 (build 32839), XnView 1.97.8) have been updated to the newest versions.

New version - TC UP 5.2

After 3 months we are back with new version. In this release we have focused on improving installer code. All pages of installer and uninstaller were rewritten. This release brings finally finished uninstaller repair mode (available directly through uninstaller or TC UP menu option "Repair"). Installer code has been optimized and interface has new graphics. Installer related plugins (EmbeddedLists.dll v1.4.0.2, LockedList.dll v2.0) have been updated and licenses files have been arranged (moved credits and translators information there). We are still working on better support for Windows 7.

TC UP Turbo (actualisation checker, repair mode interface) has gained new information window layout. Thanks to general code optimalisation it should also be faster. We have also
focused on Windows 7 related features: we designed new drive bar and added installer auto-pin option of TC UP icon in Taskbar and Start Menu (also available for other programstools).
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, the latest works only for English, Polish and German operating system versions. We will try to address other languages in
next versions.

Main TC UP project is now better maintained and fixed few other issues: Installer doeasn't modify %PATH% system variable anymore, we fixed %DISK_PERCENT_USED_SPACE% and %DISK_PERCENT_FREE_AVAILABLE% tags handling (needed for displaying disk informations on Total Commander titlebar), we also fixed hanged TC UP.exe process (fore "Run only one instance"
option). ColSel tool works correctly now and uses default installation language. Temporary, we have decided to remove Winamp support from TC taskbar information.

Opera@USB Internet browser can also be set as default web browser. VirtualDisk plugin and its driver have been updated.
